Are Great Vacations Possible When Money is Tight? An Honest Look at LGN Prosperity/Travel

February 17, 2010
Summary
Are great vacations still possible even in our depressed economy?  The company, LGN Travel asserts the answer is yes.  The purpose of this article is to reveal details of their 10 discount travel packages, which can only be obtained by members and otherwise cannot be found anywhere else on the Internet.

It is now January 2010 and much of the Northern Hemisphere is in a deep freeze.  Here in Oklahoma, USA, where I live, we are having the coldest winter in fourteen years.  Last month, we had the first white Christmas in…maybe…never!  Or at least, as far as I can remember.  However, the one bright spot in all this is that vacation season is right around the corner.  In other parts of the world vacation season is already in full gear and still in other parts, where the sun always shines, vacation season is endless.

However, in our worldwide struggling economy, are great vacations even possible?  We all love to take vacations, but lately the question many are asking, is, “Who’s going to pay for my vacation”.  I don’t have the money.”  The company, LGN Prosperity, with a discount travel division, states; “You will literally be able to travel for pennies on the dollar to some fantastic destinations”.  Is this true?  Before you spend your hard earned money signing up for a discount program without knowing the details, lets take an honest look at the 10 discount travel certificate packages that this company offers, which they promise have no expiration dates and unlimited downloads.

When evaluating these discounts, there are several things that should be noted from the onset, that are standard practices, regardless what discount travel/vacation company you choose.  For you seasoned travelers, this will be old news, but for the novice, it might just save you from some unpleasant surprises.
1. Availability is limited during peak seasons and major holidays and peak season surcharges are common.
2. Reservation and processing fees are also common.
3. For cruises, port/service fees are required with no exception, even if you book directly with the cruise line.
4. All airline and/or hotel accommodation are subject to availability and are often restricted to specific flights, dates of travel and coordination of accommodations.
5. Quite often, bookings require advanced notice, sometimes as much as 45 to 60 days, and if less, there may be extra charges based on availability.
6. Finally, it is also common practice by most discount services, to restrict combining two or more discount offers.  For example, a free hotel package with a free airline ticket package.  Hint: Most seasoned travelers are members of several travel discount clubs and combining offers from different companies is the way around this.

On one final not, many of the following package require you to be 21 years or older. Now without further qualifications, let’s see what LGN Travel has to offer.

LGN Travel Maintains That The Best Airline Tickets Are Free. Is This Possible?

February 17, 2010
Summary:
When you purchase a hotel stay at one of the many hotels and locations on the LGN Travel listed, you will receive two free roundtrip airfares to and from that location, but it’s very import to know how to get the best hotel at the best price.

To take advantage of what is undoubtedly the best airline tickets available, (since they are free); there are two things you need to know.  First, departures are offered year round from most U.S. airports based on airline and hotel availability, as well as specific flights and dates of travel.  You will have your choice of multiple destinations throughout the USA, as well as Hawaii and certain locations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe. This will be limited during peak seasons and certain holidays.

The second thing to know is that while the air travel is free, you are responsible for all hotel charges and any charges in excess of the LGN package, such as various fees and surcharges.  For this reason, it is very import to know how to get the best hotel at the best price.  This applies whether you take advantage of this LGN package or not.  Either way, it is assumed that people who are looking for package deals or discounts may have an expense account with a limited amount or are on a budget.  The following are some tips that might be helpful in making your choice of hotels.

1. Hotel Ratings:
The initial step in choosing a hotel is to make a list of hotels that are in the area you plan to visit.  Then find out about each one.  There are several ways to do this.  One method is to simply ask someone who’s been there.  Another way is to do an online search for guest ratings. While on line, you can also read reviews by former guest.  In addition you could call the Tourist Bureau or Chamber of Commerce in the city you plan to visit.  They can provide very helpful information, as well as giving recommendations of good hotels and good prices.

2. Facilities:
Once you have narrowed down your choice of hotels to something manageable, the next thing to consider is what kind of facilities they have.  Some considerations might be good concierge services, shuttle services, good laundry services, indoor or outdoor swimming pool, Internet connections, onsite restaurants, gym facilities and whatever else might persuade you one way or another.  To determine if the hotel has the facilities that meet your needs, again you can again go online, or just simply call some of the hotels on your list and ask them about the type of amenities they have.

3.  Location:
Now that you have narrowed down your choice of hotels even more based on facilities, the next step is to decide upon a location in the area that you plan to visit. Some of the factors to consider are access to amenities, such as restaurants, shopping areas, laundry facilities and proximity to attractions you plan to visit.  In addition, if you don’t have access to a car, it would be a good idea to choose a hotel that is in walking distance from some of the amenities as noted above.  It would also be worth your while to do a background check of the area, because you would definitely want to stay clear of rough neighborhoods.

4. Transportation and Parking
You need to find out if the hotel has shuttle services to and from the airport, or to and from other locations of interest.  If they don’t have this service, find out how much you can except to pay for public transportation.  If you’re going to rent a car upon your arrival, check out what rental companies are available and what is their cost, as well as what kind of parking facilities does the hotel offer?

5. Hotel Rates
By now you’ve probably narrowed down you choices to a couple of hotels.  However, for those of you who are on a budget, which is most of us, probably the most important consideration is the price of the hotel. Making a finally decision on which hotel to choose, becomes a balancing act between amenities and cost.  If they are all too expensive for you budget, you then have at least two choices.  One, you can revise your list. You might ask yourself, “Do I really need this or that particular amenity.”  Just because a hotel doesn’t have valet parking, for example, doesn’t mean that it is not a warm and comfortable place to stay.

On the other hand, maybe you can still have the facility of your choice, by checking into the availability of discounts.  Members of AAA get discounts.  Sometimes Military people or veterans can get discounts, as well as senior citizens.  Also, sometimes credit card companies offer discount rates for cardholders to certain hotels or you may be able to get hotel discounts through frequent flyer points.  In addition, there are hotel coupon books, in which you can get discount coupons for certain hotels or hotel chains.  However, probably the best way to get a discount is to travel during off-season or non-peak days, such as weekdays.

6. Booking
It is always a good idea to book you flight and hotel in advance.  Sometimes you are required to book as much as 60 days ahead of time.  If you are going to use the LGN Travel services, they can tell you how far in advance you need to book, but usually by booking in advance you will be able to get a better room rate, than if you wait until the last minute.  If you’re going to stay at a chain hotel, you can often get a better rate by booking in advance online.  This may also be possible with some non-chains.  Just Google them and see what they have to offer.

The bottom line is, if you take the time to do your research, you will be able to find a great hotel at a reasonable price that still offers the services you need.

It appears that the best airline tickets are indeed free. Go to our Vacation Blog for more information and to learn how to access this vacation/travel package or feel free to call Ed or Nancy Vacin at 918-955-8978 or email us at edvacin@gmail.com.

Dining Out Discounts and Savings, A Review of the Savings Highway

December 23, 2009
Article Summary

Dining out is something that many people have found necessary to forgo in our present economy.   This review of the Savings Highway will reveal that by means of various restaurant discount coupons, dining out may not be as expensive as one might think.  This in combination with other saving money tips, visiting restaurants may still be an option for those who enjoy this past time.

Most people love dining out, but in this economy many can no longer afford it.  The Savings Highway is just one of two possible solutions to this dilemma.  Threw this company one can obtain $25 restaurant gift certificates, at well-known restaurants, which can be printed off on line, for as little as $2.00 or $3.00 and very rarely they might cost as much as $4.00 or $5.00 tops and even more rarely, as little as $1.00.  In September of this year, 2009, these certificates were on sale the first week of the month for $1.00 each and one individual reported buying 20 of them.  There is no limit on how many you can buy and you have a year to use them.  It is now December and it is reported that these 20, $25.00 certificates are being used as Christmas gifts.

However, there are some drawbacks to these restaurant deals.  First, if anyone thinks that they can, for example, get four or five or six $25.00 certificates and have a huge expensive meal for family and friends, this person will be sadly mistaken.  The reality is that only one certificate at a time can be used at any given restaurant, which is the policy of all participating establishments.  In addition the patron is required to have to spend at least $35.00 plus an 18% tip.  So how does this work out in actually savings.  To state a testimony from another article by this author:

“Julie Cypert, Broken Arrow stated: ‘My husband and I were able to eat in a restaurant that we always wanted to go to, but never could afford it, until my mom gave me one of those $25.00 coupons for $2.00.  We had an awesome meal for two, in a fancy restaurant for about 20.00 bucks. I’ve spent more than that in fast food places. Oh, by the way, my mom paid for the certificate too. What a deal!’”

Another saving opportunity the company provides when dining out are coupons that offer “Buy One Diner Get One Free” diners or lunches, at popular restaurants, or ones that have $5.00 or $10.00 off.  Again quoting from another article by this author:

“Ed and Nancy of Broken Arrow, OK reported that: ‘We had the best barbecue ribs that we ever had in our lives, for $8.00, by using one of the ‘Buy One Get One Free’ coupons, which we were able to print online. The restaurant was one of those little ‘hole-in-the-wall’ places that we would have never know was there, if it were not for this discount program”.

One might ask the question, “But can I find these restaurant savings in my area”.  In most case the answer is yes.  Just for a test, a Savings Highway search was conducted for restaurants in a small town by the name of Clinton in western Oklahoma and 12 restaurants were located that participates in this savings program.

It should be noted that when looking for restaurants that offer these coupons even more money can be saved by comparing prices.  Some offer “Buy One Diner Get One Free” while other may offer 50% off, which is some cases might be the cheaper way to go.  The savings may not be much, but as they saying goes, “A penny save, is a penny earned”.

A little bit of planing can also result in further savings.  For example if a family with two or three children are dining out some members might take advantage of the discount coupons, while others may get special deals on kids and senior menu.  Further, if you if you forgo the soda, coffee and other drinks and stick to water with your meal, the bill will be reduced even more.  All in all, even in this economy you may still be able to enjoy the fun and pleasure of dining out.

Dining out is indeed possible even when money is tight.  If you want to learn how to save money in a multiple other situations, as well as how to make money by helping other people to save money, visit Ed and Nancy Vacin’s website, Discount Clubs Info.

Rescue Dogs Are Waiting, How One Little Lady Rescued Herself

December 17, 2009
Summary

Rescue dogs are patiently waiting for some one to adopt them.  Rescue dogs are truly the way to go when acquiring a pet.  Read about one who gave up waiting and rescued herself.

The storm raged outside but did not bother us, as we were all snuggled inside with our two dogs, Cimi and Grumbles, which you may learned about in previous articles.  Suddenly, my granddaughter, Serina, said, “look gramma, there is a dog at our window”.  The little dog had her paws on the outside ledge of the window, looking in.  She was filthy and soaking wet.  I told Serina to go get her.  Serina brought her in.  The dog was so dirty and her hair was so matted and wet, you almost could not tell what color she was.  I put her in the sink to give her a bath.  I know she was thinking, “What are you doing to me. I am soaking wet, hungry, and cold and you put me under more water?  What ever is going on here?”  Serina helped me hold on to her, as the little dog was trying to get out of the sink.  She was not growling or trying to bite us.  She just wanted out and she was very, very strong, despite the fact that she was just skin and bones.

We finally got her bathed somewhat and dried off.  I then started cutting all the matted hair balls off her.  That took me 3 hours and she still looked like a ragamuffin.  She would not let me clip her hair anywhere near her face.  She looked like her coat was probably light beige with silver on her ears and I thought she was probably Shih Tzu.  She only had one tooth in her whole mouth.  We thought maybe she had run away from a puppy mill.  She was so sweet.  Serina and I decided to call her Molly.

The next day I called one of my friends, to see if she wanted to adopt Molly.  She fell in love with Molly at first sight, but her husband really did not want another dog.  My husband, Ed, was in Florida at the time.  When Ed came home, he too fell in love with Molly on sight.  We decided we would keep her, because by this time she had wormed her way into our hearts.

The following day I gave Molly another bath, as she was still dirty.  The matted hairballs made it hard to bathe her the first time.  She looked much better after her second bath.  We took her to the vet, who thought she might be about 8 or 9 years old due to the fact that she had no teeth.  We had him sedate her and trim her hair around her face.  She looked so cute after her trim…almost like a little Ewok.

Molly has settled into her new home over time, though she is still very skittish.  If anyone tries to approach her she will keep backing up, staying just out of reach and if she is startled, she will turn and run out the doggy door as fast as she can.  For example, if someone even walks past her when she is eating, she will immediately stop eating and run out the doggy door.  Who knows what she went through before she found us and how long it will take for her to settle down?  On the positive side, she will come to us to get loved on, if it is her idea and she loves our other dog, Cimi.  They play together every day.  She tolerates our Maltese, Grumbles, but lets him know immediately he better not get any ideas about making her his mate.  She will have none of that nonsense.

Molly reminds me of a cat.  She is very strong willed and independent.  She will not come when she is call, unless it benefits her in someway.  She will let you hold her if she wants to be held.  But if she does not feel like it, she will fight to get down, and she is very strong.  As I said, we have found that it is much easier if we let her come to us.  She also has picked out where she wants to eat, and will not eat anywhere else.  She is on a special diet, since we had to get her surgery for a bladder stone, which could return, without the diet.  She loves the food, but is unhappy about not getting snacks from out dinner, like Cimi and Grumbles get.  She does not mind her bath or grooming anymore and is no longer skin and bones.  She’s actually beginning to look like a fat little tinker-toy.  She also is probably only 2 or 3 years old, as she has developed little bitsy teeth.

On one final note, Molly and Grumbles share Grumbles toys, and Grumbles does not complain as he is hoping that one day, Molly will be more friendly toward him.  She just does not trust him enough yet to play with him.  Considering the environment, in which she must have come, it’s surprising that she trust anyone, but we feel sure that as she feels more and more safe with us that she will come around.

I’m sure you can tell by now that these delightful little dogs are truly part of our family and we love them.  They have brought joy and laughter into our lives.  You might think about rescuing an animal yourself, which I’m sure will bring more joy and laughter into your life as well.

Nancy Vacin is the author of this article and all three of her dogs are actually rescue dogs. To read about how they each have their own unique and individual personalities and their own special stories go to the article tab on her website and see if the other stories will motive you into rescuing an animal yourself.

Discount Clubs Info and The Savings Highway Presents: Dogs Can Learn Sign Language – by Nancy Vacin

November 6, 2009

Dogs can learn sign language?  What does this have to do with promoting a business? NOTHING!  I just thought my readers would get a kick out of my crazy dog.  If you like this true story, let me know.  I got a lot more.

In our last article you learned all about our dog, Cimi.  Now it's Grumbles turn. We got Grumbles from Poodle Rescue when he was 6 years old.  However, Grumbles is a Maltese.  They said his name was “Nicky”.  He was so cute and when we first held him at the rescue center, he cuddled with us and tried to lick our face, showing us his approval of us. Upon arriving at home, we would quickly learned, that ‘Nicky’s’ approval was contingent upon our behavior around him.  He would not answer to ‘Nicky’, NEVER or come when we called him, no matter what we called him, or what we did to get him to come to us.  If we came up on him from behind he would jump up and spin in a circle, while growling, and try to bite his tail.  It seemed at first we were always displeasing him, and he would growl and try to bite his tail, to the point that he actually bit it several times. We soon learned that he wasn’t really growling.  He was grumbling.  After several days, we named him Grumbles because that is all he ever did.  He grumbles during his bath, or if we tried to brush him, or anytime my husband would hold him. The funny thing, if my husband rocks him, while holding him, Grumbles would stop his grumbling and cuddles.  He loves to be rocked.

Over time we learned that Grumbles was stone deaf and that is why he would freak out if you came up behind him.  We have taught him sign language so he will know what we want from him.  He is very intelligent and actually knows from my looks whether he is in trouble for something.  If he thinks he is in trouble he will start growling but will not spin, unless I start to walk toward him, at which time he spins.  He knows we will not let him spin because we don’t want him to bite himself.  He sounds so ferocious when he growls, but he has never tried to bite us or anyone else.  But he lets you know in no uncertain terms, when he is upset with you. Once when we scolded him for something, he stomped off down the hall and every few feet, he would stop, look back at us, grumble, and then continue on until he disappeared into the bedroom.

Grumbles has a basket of toys that are his to play with and he loves them.  He also loves my husband’s shoes, and they disappear from time to time and then reappear.  Now when my grandson comes over, who is two, he also like to play with Grumbles toys and will put them in his basket.  When he leaves, Grumbles goes over to Owen’s basket and gets his toys out and puts them back in his own basket.  He loves Owen, but does not want to share his toys and is not real happy when Owen wants to hug him.  However, he has learned that he may not growl at Owen.  So Grumbles sits right next to me on the recliner, so I will protect him from Owen giving him too many hugs.  When Owen is older, maybe Grumbles will let him rock him.

Grumbles is so funny.  He is so little, but thinks he is as big as a lion.  Cimi, our other dog, has trained him to only eat what she likes to eat.  We got him as a playmate for Cimi, but they have never really played together.  They each just sort of do their own thing.  One funny thing is that when someone drives into the driveway, Cimi will start barking and somehow Grumbles knows Cimi is barking, although he is 100% deaf, and will start barking too.

Well, that is Grumbles story.  One day we will tell you how we got our third dog, Molly.

The Savings Highway Discount Club Presents How The Mistakes of One Website Owner Led to Success by Nancy Vacin

November 6, 2009
My name is Nancy Vacin and I am one of the owners of the business and website, Discount Clubs Info.  This commentary is about, “things I learned from making marketing mistakes in my home based businesses”.  Or maybe I should say it’s about, “how not to succeed in marketing”. After five years and $10,000 with no return in trying to market home based businesses, I think I have learned everything there is to know about what “not” to do, if you want to succeed in a home based business.  Of course in the process I’ve also learned some things you need to do, before starting your own business from home or from a storefront for that matter.

My husband’s and my first venture was in Cheney, Washington. We opened a small Christian bookstore. Cheney was a college town, of about 8000 residents, with quite a few little surrounding towns. Spokane was 15 miles from Cheney. We thought we would get a lot of traffic from Cheney and the surrounding towns. That was not the case. We found that people would drive to Spokane to do their main shopping, and while there, visit the very large Christian bookstore there. Needless to say, we closed the store at a loss after one year.

My Mistake: Not doing research or market analysis for need of a Christian bookstore in area.

Our second main venture was flipping real estate houses in a depressed area. My husband and daughter did this as a join venture. Learning from our first mistake, my husband did research on the market, lined up an investor a head of time that agreed to work with us, and printed off forms needed for the business. This business actually made a nice income for one person, but barely enough for two. Unfortunately, the state decided to redevelop the area and offered thousands more for the houses than would have been profitable for us.

There was no mistake here: The only cost involved was for fuel for the car to check out the houses. My suggestion on this would be to always line up an investor before attempting to flip houses in any area.

At this point, we decided to work online. We attended a workshop about working from home. The presenters were excellent and we invested $6000 for 6 licenses for online store type websites. This turned out to be a total disaster. We knew nothing about advertising online. I picked my template for my site and located the products I wanted to sell from seven different drop-shippers. I made one sale in a year. Fortunately, I had a full time job, so our only loss was the investment of time and money. At least we were not out on the streets.

My Mistakes: Not learning what was involved in setting up a business online such as: research on marketing, advertising, having a web presence, comparison of hosting vendors, and not writing down a business plan with goals and a budget.

While embarrassing to admit, I tried several other MLM online businesses that failed. I finally started to learn that if I wanted to be successful I needed to do my research. The first thing I did was to write my business plan. I picked a nutritional company that had been in business for 10 years and had a good compensation plan, offered a second stream of income, with no extra work, and offered a lot of bonuses. Through trial and effort, I slowly built my business. I really enjoyed educating my downline leaders how to train their people on the business. Unfortunately, my downline slowly quit, and when the second stream company did a major revision in their compensation plan, my team builders also quit.

My Mistakes: Rather than go into extensive detail, I will summarize them as follows:
1. Bringing people in through the second stream of income business, instead of the nutritional business.
2. Spending my whole annual advertising budget during the first two months of business to buy leads. (Buying leads is the same as flushing money down the toilet.)
3. Buying a 4 Gig laptop, when I had a desktop.
4. Not doing a Google search for free advertising and leads.

My husband and I are currently doing an online business together. Through my mistakes, I have found that I hate having to do anything that is technical with the computer, like setting up web sites and capture pages. I enjoy talking to people and writing blogs and articles. My husband enjoys the technical components and is very good at it. But for me, if it were I alone, I would never be successful in business online, because I would not do the technical things necessary to be profitable online or even break even.

So, in summary, we have finally found a home business that lets my husband and I use our own particular talents in the area we are good at. He does all the promoting and designing and we both do sales. We have learned how to get ranked with Google for free, advertise for free and get free leads. We have learned the biggest secret is not only knowing your strengths, but to have a mentor team, who are doing well with their business. Learning all this, we are finally on our way to retirement and helping others do the same.

Discount Clubs Info and The Saving Highway Asserts: Rescue Dogs Can Be Incredibly Smart

November 6, 2009

Are you as tired as I am of sales pitches?  So, below link is a story about one of my rescue dogs.  Has nothing to do with sales.  I hope you like it.  If so let me know and I’ll send some more about my other two dogs.

My wife and I have three dogs, but today I am only going to talk about one of them. The others, I’ll save for another day. So, without further to do, the first dog we acquired was a rescue puppy, which we named Cimi--short of cinnamon, because she is a cinnamon color. She is half Golden Retriever and half Chow. She is of medium size like a Chow, with a curled up tail, but has the personality of a Retriever.

She is so smart that we didn’t have to house-break her, because she house-broke herself. When she got older, we discovered that she understood every word we said. If fact, if we want to say something in front of her that we don’t want her to know, we have to spell it. I’ve heard a lot of similar stories about having to spell things in front of dogs, but the difference with Cimi, is that she learned how to spell some words, like, "W.A.L.K". If we were to say something such as, "It’s time to take you know who for a W.A.L.K", her ears would perk up and she’d starts to whine and run back a forth to the door.

She also has strange eating habits. She won’t eat hard dog food, unless she’s starving. The vet said that dogs are genetically programmed to be able to go five days without eating, because when they lived in the wild, they never knew when they’d get their next meal. He said that when they refuse to eat, it’s harder on us than on them, but when they get hungry enough they’ll eat. Anyway, Cimi knows that it really upsets us when she won’t eat, so what she does, is to put her head down to the bowl and pretend to eat. In the end, we finally break down before the five days are up and give her some canned dog food, which she isn’t crazy about, but she will eat it. However, the only kind of canned dog food she will eat is too expensive to give her all the time. So, she finally got "us" trained. We have taken to making her food with turkey roll, rice and vegetables. She loves it, but it’s really a lot of work to maintain.

Finally, and strangely enough, she has never liked to play with dog toys or do dog tricks and we were never able to teach her to fetch. When we tried, she would look at us as if to say, "You go fetch. What do you think I am – a dog". That’s right, she thinks she human and so do we.

Discount Clubs Info Reveals Travel Discounts Via The Savings Highway

October 9, 2009

While the height of the travel season for the Northern Hemisphere is pretty much over, that doesn’t stop people from dreaming about next year or heading south this year. There are those who dream about jetting around the world to exotic distinctions. Others see themselves lounging on the deck of a luxurious ocean liner, relaxing to the rhythm of the waves. Still others would love traveling around their particular country, in a home-like RV, discovering all the hidden places of interest.

Then, while on vacation, for those that love outdoor sports, one could go water skiing in Spain in the Summer, or snow skiing in Colorado in the winter. On the other hand, to go deep sea fishing in Cancun or Jet Skiing in the Caribbean, would be the vacation of a lifetime. Or for those who have Equestrian leanings, who could resist horseback riding at Yellowstone. Of course, the more adventurous might be drawn to bungee jumping somewhere the UK, or Sky diving high over Brazil, or heading down under, for Scuba Diving off the Gold Coast of Australia. And for a real thrill ride, what about rafting on Africa's Zambezi River. Now one might say, "Well I like adventure, but I’m not that adventurous." All right, how about Air boating in the Florida Everglades, a Hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque, Snorkeling at Hanama Bay, Hawaii or maybe a Mule Trip down the Grand Canyon.

The list of places, to go and things to do on vacations, are endless. Everyone has his or her idea of the "prefect" vacation. However, in our world’s struggling economy, there is one big practical question  - "Who’s going to pay for this?" One possible solution is to take your first trip down The Savings Highway, which is a discount club, that has discounts on everything imaginable, including - vacations. They might not have the answer for everything, but they may be able to help you in planing your next vacation. Savings Highway Members get discount rates on travel including hotels, flights, cruises, and vacation packages. Plus you'll gain access to their Worldwide Condo Program, where you can find deals on weeklong stays in many countries around the globe! And as far as things to do while you’re on vacation, at least in the US, this savings club can save you up to 35% on Movie Tickets and provide discounts on Theme Parks. You'll also get savings on golf, bowling, skating, attractions, movie rentals, and sporting events! Here’s what a couple of members had to say.

Cliff L, USA: "My wife and I saved $150 on a 3 night hotel stay! The service was easy to use. We just called in and they found us the best rate!" -

Barry S, UT: "Other companies charge $497 for access to this exact World Wide Condo Program. Let's do the math... Savings Highway includes it with my membership for FREE, gives us Free Gas Rebates, Legal, Roadside, and all the other savings! There isn't a better savings program out there in my opinion and I'm proud to be a member!"

Even with all these travel and related discounts, Julie, 32, of OK said, "Well all that’s great, but whose got the time to travel. I work 12 hours a day, seven days a week, and when I do have time off, I have family obligations in another state that I have to deal with. I don’t need a hotel, because I drive straight through 14 hours.

How can The Savings Highway possibly help out with this? Maybe not directly, but in- directly they have a "retire early" plan, that if one works the program properly, there is a real possibility, of even a 32 year old, retiring by age 33 or younger. For more information of this, click on The Savings Highway link below and when the site comes up, click on the "Retire Early" button. As noted, The Savings Highway does not have all the solutions to helping people obtain their "dream" vacation, but they do have a number of answers to the question - "Who’s going to pay for this?"

Beginning Your Search for a Small Home Based Business, Could End With The Savings Highway

October 7, 2009

Are you just starting to do the research in locating an online home business?  Deciding on an appropriate business enterprise could constitute the most difficult part for many individuals.  Nevertheless this is the most crucial decision you can arrive at in your pursuit to embark on a commercial enterprise of your own.  Below are four criteria to entertain that could assist with your decision.

First of all, what are your interests?  Do you have a spare-time activity that could transform into a money making endeavor, such as writing or music?  When building your list of online business possibilities, think about things you truly like doing. Why?  It’s because whatever business you decide to take on, will command a huge share of your time and energy.  Choosing an online business based upon the possibility of making “big bucks” may sound wonderful at the start.  However, if you end up selecting something that you dislike or even hate, just because of the hope of making thousands of dollars a month, you will soon be procrastinating when you should be working.

Second, be sure you possess, or can easily locate, both the skills and equipment called for to successfully operate your “online” home business.  If you’re going to work online, do you have a computer and are you fairly computer literate?  Do you know how or can your learn how to create a squeeze page or web page through which you can advertise your business.  Do you know how to market your products or know where to obtain marketing training? You can have the best products available, but if no one sees your ads all your hard work will be in vain.  And, if you spend so much time in training that your don’t have time for your business, again all your hard work is for not.

Third, speaking of products and services, there are at least two types.  One, you can create your own products, such as writing a short e-book or you can provide a service, such as supplying information on some product.  The list can go on.  The second type is you can market someone else’s products.  Multilevel marketing or affiliate marketing are two good examples of this, and again the list can go on and on.  If you don’t want the hassle of creating your own products or services that automatically eliminates a number of option from your list.

Four, is there a demand for what you'll be providing?  When pinning down your list of online business options, take time to ascertain if there is a need for the product or service. This can be done in part by using the Google Key Word Tool or doing a Google keyword search to see how much competition you will have.  To understand these two techniques is a subject for another article.  The bottom line is, that you may possess all the necessary requirements, gifts and motivation in the cosmos, but if there's zero demand for what you have to sell, then attaining a living from your business will be extremely challenging in not impossible.

An example and a good model, of what to look for, when considering an online business is The Savings Highway Discount Clubs.  This club is a business that most people are sure to enjoy, requires a minimal amount of skills and equipment, totally eliminate the need for physically dealing with products, while at the same time, offers products that everybody needs and wants.  How The Saving Highway handles the above four criteria is outlined below.

1. Picking a homebased business that you will like - Who doesn’t want to save money?  All you have to do is to help people save money and you can end up making money at the same time – maybe a lot of money.  If you enjoy help people, saving money and making money, perhaps this is what you’ve been looking for.

2. Skills and equipment needed – If you are a person with average to higher intelligence, are highly motivated, and have a computer with an Internet connection and some basic computer skills, you’re on your way.  A computer that is quite fast with a high speed Internet connection and a Skye program, as well as a telephone, with unlimited long distance, would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary.  Basic grammar and writing abilities would also be helpful, but again, not absolutely necessary, because you sponsor can help you with that.  Actually, the only skill that is absolutely necessary, besides the computer, is motivation.  To be perfectly honest, unless you are “highly” motivated your chances of success are very limited.

3. Product or a service required  - None.  The Savings Highway has all the products and services needed.  This company offers discounts on everything imaginable. Depending on the plan, it provides access to free 24 hour roadside assistance (GE), a free family legal plan, a family dental plan (Aetna), a family vision plan and discount prescriptions.  They also offer restaurant discounts, as well savings on groceries, shopping, Entertainment, travel, hotels, moving services, car and truck rental and even tax saving, only to mention a few.

4. Is there a need for these products  - In this tight economy everyone is looking for ways to save money.  In view of such a great need for savings, during this time of financial upheaval in our culture and around the world, Discount Clubs Info, via The Savings Highway offers, something that everybody wants – Saving Money - and if they can make money along the way, even better.

So, in your search for a home based business, please, look at all your options.  Do a good search.  If there are any opportunities out there, that can meet your needs better than The Savings Highway, by all means go for it, but make sure you take a really good look at this discount club when considering your options.

With Some Precautions, Working From Home Can Be Enjoyable And Lucrative via The Savings Highway

October 4, 2009

A recently established company, Discount Clubs Info (DCI), maintains that working from home can be something that is extremely beneficial in this day and age. Numerous individuals are looking for methods, in which to make money and save on expenses via the Internet. DCI affirms that The Savings Highway Discount Club has the answer for both. The savings actually begins, by simply realizing, that when you work at home, you do not have to buy whole outfits, in order to wear something different to work everyday. At home, you can work in your PJs, if you want too. There is also no travel expense, to go from your bedroom to your home office, and there is no need to spend money eating out, when you can just go to your kitchen just a few feet away. However, when you do need such things, The Saving Highway has saving on all of these and more.

There are more and more opportunities everyday to make money using the Internet, because it just keeps getting bigger and bigger with no end in sight. There are several possible ways to make money online, as follows:

1. You can actually get a real online job with a real paycheck by working for someone else, but such home-based jobs are far and few between.

2. You can do contract work, such as data entry, though such legitimate jobs are again, not that easy to find.

3. The last option, to be discussed here, is to start your own online work at home business, but there is a lot of work involved in doing this. To quote myself from another article, "If you’re going to work online, do you have a computer and are you fairly computer literate? Do you know how or can your learn how to create a squeeze page or web page, through which you can advertise your business. Do you know how to market your products or know where to obtain marketing training? You can have the best products available, but if no one sees your ads, all your hard work will be in vain. And, if you spend so much time in training that your don’t have time for your business, again all your hard work is for not".

If you search the Internet, you will quickly find moneymaking opportunities in abundance. They are every where. Make $5000 a month or $10,000 or $50,000 working 20 minutes a day. Who makes that kind of money by working 20 minutes a day, or 24 hours a day? Of course, there are exceptions to this. There are true testimonies, of those making huge amounts of money a month, but alas, this is not the fate of most. These outrages claims have led many astray, into the hands of scam artists, who have no problem taking advantage of honest people just trying to making some extra money, or even make a living working on line.

To protect yourself from these online scoundrels, you have to do the research on any business that you are considering becoming involved with. You can check with the Better Business Bureau, do a Google search for information about the company. There are several websites that deal in providing information about scams and/or you can you can go to "work at home forums" and ask questions about a company that your are thinking about. Discount Clubs Info has done such research on The Savings Highway and has found it to be a solid reputable company, which has been in business for three years and has been growing steadily ever since.
